Trainer’s Pokémon: Then and Now
Trainer’s Pokémon hold a special place in the TCG’s history, dating back to the iconic Gym Heroes and Gym Challenge sets of the early 2000s. These cards feature Pokémon partnered with specific trainers, showcasing their unique bond. For example, Misty’s Magikarp evolves only into Misty’s Gyarados, emphasizing the exclusive relationship.
In Journey Together, this concept evolves further. Expect cards like N’s Zoroark ex, Hop’s Zacian ex, and Lillie’s Clefairy ex, showcasing the deep trust between trainers and their Pokémon.
